  • Typically 20–60 seconds on nano-banana-2. Our worker polls every 3 seconds and gives up after 4 minutes with a clear error message — no silent failures.

  • Stored on S3 with a 90-day expiry by default (configurable down to 24 hours). A sweeper deletes expired objects and rows. IPs are hashed with a per-tenant salt — we never log raw IPs.

  • Shopify merchants install the Wearlo app from the App Store and enable the theme block — about 10 minutes. WooCommerce merchants install the plugin from WP admin. Custom stores add one <script> tag plus a "Try on" snippet to the PDP template.

  • Yes. Every output carries a visible "AI" watermark baked into the image (Article 50). The disclaimer captures 18+ consent plus links to your Terms and Privacy Policy. PII is minimised — hashed IPs, auto-deletion, and a DPA is available on Growth and Scale plans.

  • nano-banana-2 via kie.ai. The prompt has been tuned over two months of production traffic to preserve pattern, fabric, and cut fidelity without color-averaging. You can't tune it per-tenant in v1 on purpose: one prompt, consistently good output.

  • Tops, jackets, dresses, coats, and knitwear perform best. Trousers and structured tailoring work well too. Heavily textured or very reflective items (sequin, vinyl) are the current weak spots — visible in the admin QA gallery so you can flag them upstream.

  • We track shoppers who generated a try-on and compare their 24-hour purchase rate to those who didn't. Attribution is last-touch and logged-in only — guests are excluded from the revenue number to keep it honest.

  • Yes. We provide a migration guide for product ingestion and, on Scale plans, a walk-through of past try-on history import if the other vendor has an export API.
